Donnie Joe Hutson
Celebration of Remembrance for Mr. Donnie Joe Hutson, 63, of West Monroe, La will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Joel Brackett officiating. Interment will follow at Luna Methodist Church Cemetery in West Monroe.
Mr. Hutson was born February 1, 1953 and passed from this life on July 22, 2016. He was a driver for Central Oil. Mr. Hutson loved hunting, fishing, but most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He touched many lives and will be missed by many.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Hutson and Minnie Phegley; sister, Karen Urquiza; brother, Paul Phegley Jr.; and two grandchildren, Julee and Jacob Hutson.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Alice Harris Hutson; three children, Rhonda, Tammy, and Della; three stepchildren, Sean, Amanda and Cindy; ten grandchildren, Amber, Joey, Carrie, Baylie, Zack, Tyler, Cade, Maegan, Alayna and Myra; five great-grandchildren, Dusti, Case, Lacie, Dash and Asten; brother, Steve Hutson, sister, Billie Nicholson and husband Myron; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
Pallbearers will be Shayne Hudson, Dusty Cascio, Joey Hutson, Zack Murphy, David Sisson, and Cade Smith.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care and Dr. Clyde Elliott.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM PM Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe.
