Obituary for Barry Lane Tripp
Barry Lane Tripp
Funeral Services for Mr. Barry Lane Tripp, 51, of West Monroe, LA, will be 3:00 PM Friday, September 16, 2016, in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Charles Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Tripp was born September 19, 1964 and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 11, 2016. He worked for West Ouachita Cabinets. Mr. Tripp loved playing horseshoes, watching football and most of all spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by Georgia Prestridge, who raised him; his mother, Mary Alford; brother, Russel Caples; son, Chad Tripp; and father, HB Tripp.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Cheryl Tripp; daughters, Chelsea Tripp, Ashley Trichell (BooBoo); son, BJ Tripp (Danielle); step-sons, Chris and Lance LaPrarie; grandchildren, MaKenzie, Dezarae, and Trae Tripp, Leaha, Allenah, and Addalynn Smith, Conner and Trinity Tripp, Lexi, Lucas and Blaze LaPrarie; brother, Lowe Caples (Sandy); sisters, Rhonda Bennett, Lydia Carter, Andrea Hendrix; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
Pallbearers will be Jmac, Fritz, Steve Sturdivant, Brooks, Paul and Lonnie. Honorary Pallbearers will be BooBoo and James.
The family would to extend a special thank you to Aime Hospice.
