Graveside services for Mr. Edward E. Greer of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm Monday, November 21, 2016 at New Chapel Hill Cemetery in West Monroe, LA with Rev. Clovis Sturdivant officiating. Interment will directly follow at the cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mr. Greer was born May 9, 1929 in Alto, LA and passed from this life on November 18, 2016 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 87. He was a member of New Chapel Hill Baptist Church and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Lela Greer, eight brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Claudia Greer; three sons, Lawrence Greer, Ralph Greer and Jeff Greer; four grandchildren, Krystal Johnson, Gabrielle Tetrick, Michael Greer and Tina Phillips; three great-grandchildren, Skylar Lenard, Reed Tetrick and Reagan; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends and his entire church family.
