Obituary for Betty Jo Stepherson (Howell)
Betty Jo Stepherson
Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jo Stepherson of Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm Thursday, January 5, 2017 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home 600 Hwy 139 Monroe. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home Monroe. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stepherson was born February 14, 1929 in Minden, LA and passed from this life on January 2, 2017 in Monroe, LA at the age of 87.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charley E. Stepherson; one daughter, Teresa Stepherson; and one brother, Robert Lawrence Howell.
Survivors include one son, Eddie Stepherson and wife Vicky of Monroe; one daughter, Phyllis Stepherson of Monroe; one brother, Edward Charles Howell of Monroe; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jake, Matt, and Charlie Stepherson; her great-grandchildren, Michael Murphy, Kinsley, Greyson and Chastin Stepherson; step-grandchildren, Jamie Downs and Jessica Fryer; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jake Stepherson, Matt Stepherson, Charlie Stepherson, Jamie Downs, Mike Tubbs and Mike Venable.
