Horace Wheeler McNeal Jr.
Funeral services for Mr. Horace Wheeler McNeal Jr., 71, of Monroe, LA, will be 1:00pm Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home in Monroe with Dr. Clyde Sanchez officiating. Interment will be held at Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Rayville, LA, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home Monroe.
Visitation will be Tuesday, February 21, 2017 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Griffin Funeral Home in Monroe.
Mr. McNeal was born July 15, 1945 to the union of Horace and Juanita McNeal and passed from this life on February 17, 2017. He was member of Bayou Oaks Church in Monroe and retired as a sale specialist from Lowes.
He is preceded in death by his father, Horace Wheeler McNeal Sr., and mother, Juanita Barnes McNeal.
Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-five years, Ginger McNeal; son, Jeffrey Scott McNeal and wife Lisa; step-son, David Craig Martin; grandson, Zachary Martin; brother, Joseph McNeal and wife Gerri; also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Richard Morris, Neal Hotard, Jarrod McBroom, Jim Hollingsworth, Ken Slusher, Buddy Hart and Roy Walton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bayou Oaks Baptist Church and fisherhouse.org.
