Obituary for John Louis Segars II
John Louis Segars, II
Memorial services for Mr. John Louis Segars, II, of Calhoun, LA will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.
Mr. Segars was born January 10, 1972 in Alexandria, LA and passed from this life on February 21, 2017 in Calhoun, LA at the age of 45. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an excellent cook who was known for his Griller’s Specialty Stuffed Peppers. He had an endless love for his son and he was loved by his aunts, along with his entire family and anyone who met him.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Louis Segars.
Survivors include his mother, Theresa Atkins and step-father, Jimmie Atkins both of Bastrop; his son, Gavin Segars of Winnsboro; his brother, Michael Segars of Monroe; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
