Obituary for James Barry Watson
James “Stump” Barry Watson
Funeral services for Mr. James “Stump” Barry Watson of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm Sunday, April 9, 2017 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe with Lance Harris and Rev. Don Delukie officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Watson was born December 27, 1954 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on April 6, 2017 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 62. He served his country in the LA National Guard for several years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Shirley Watson, and one brother-in-law, Jerry Sullivan.
Survivors include two sisters, Connie Sullivan and Lyvonne Harris and husband Lance, all of West Monroe; one nephew, Cody Sullivan and wife Aubrey of West Monroe; one great-nephew, Zane Sullivan of West Monroe; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
