Joshua "Sua" Van Nguyen

Joshua "Sua" Van Nguyen, 62, of West Monroe, LA passed away on August 6, 2017 after battling liver cancer. Born April 6, 1955 in Vietnam, he immigrated in 1978 and was very proud to be a US Citizen. He worked as a machine operator at Adams, Sunbelt Plastics and Mid-South Extrusion for over 30 years. He loved to shoot pool in his free time.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luu Van Nguyen and Thin Thi Tran and a brother.

Survivors include his three daughters, Jill Elizabeth Nguyen of West Monroe LA, Melissa Nguyen Moore and husband Aaron of Murfreesboro TN, Lyndsey Nguyen Simpson and husband Jonathan of Chattanooga TN; two granddaughters, Addison Dawn Simpson and Brooklynn Zoie Simpson; and a sister, Van Thi Nguyen and family of Vietnam.

Per his request, a private family service will be held.
