Obituary for Bobby Ray Chapman
Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Ray Chapman of Rocky Branch, LA will be at 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, 911 Warren Dr. Pastor Mickey Bounds and Pastor Larry Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Chapman was born July 13, 1936 and departed from this world on May 13, 2018 in West Monroe, La at the age of 81.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Neta "Pearl" Chapman; parents Emery and Nettie Chapman; one son Jimmy Ray Chapman; two brothers William Allen Chapman and Martez Chapman; and one sister Dolyn Chapman Cascio.
Those left to cherish his memory include two sons Kenneth "Sam" Chapman and his wife Melinda of Ormond Beach, FL, and Calvin Allen Chapman and his wife Melanie of Rocky Branch, LA; one sister Daisy Babineau and her husband Earl; one brother Gene Chapman and his wife Bobbie; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
